First we sculpt in clay, then we make a rubber mold. We do all our own casting and we cast the work in Stone. Glass fiber reinforced sculpted stone (FRG) is very durable. One version has a bronze coating, the other version contains crushed marble dust. The piece is patinaed with acid dyes... chemical reactions creating a beautiful museum quality color. Rust is added, is aged with lots of acid ... looks old. Is totally water proof and will age beautifully even outside. Great for home or garden, xlnt gift, and very reasonably priced. Every piece is signed and dated. |
